As we roll merrily towards the end of the year we take stock on an interesting year for BFX. As some of you are aware we have had many changes to our staff. However, being presented with exciting challenges has allowed us to wear many different ‘hats’ in order to continue meeting the demands of what each job requires. These challenges prove what an awesome and dynamic team we have.

We are proud to welcome Sias Jordaan, who is a talented 3D generalist and will be an asset to our team.

Here are some of the projects we've worked on - A new reality series, Power Couple and commercials for the likes of MTN, Ford, Vodacom, Vanish, Knorr, Royco, Bakers, Telkom and Waltons.

We would like to send a hearty thanks to all our clients and crazy, sassy creative teams – you know who you are.

The last few months at BFX have been packed with exciting and inspiring new projects and campaigns.

With fresh and exciting endevours, such as shooting, researching and developing all the A/V elements and animation for the South African Music Awards and the Zambian music awards.
Alongside this we had our loyal favourites like KFC Chicky character animations keeping the team busy and out of trouble.

The new Waltons 'Walts worlds' campaign for Bidvest has seen an on-going collection of 2D cell animations completed in a charming and humorous La Linea'esque style by our very own Ernst du Plessis.

An all inclusive CI recreation for Clearvu (Cochrane) has been in full swing for the past few months including a revamp of the client's website , A/V production and brochure design.

Ben Jay Crossman; one awesome illustrator and graffiti artist, came on board for a Standard Bank Induction Project which entailed the merging of traditional style illustrations and animation.

New commercials for Freshpak and Flying Fish, both done with our beloved Sunu of Egg films have gone through the studio showcasing some great VFX work.

BFX has been continuing its exponential growth pattern both technically and creatively.

With continuous high profile jobs in process as well as the new addition of a nuke specialist, we are looking forward to the rest of the year being fruitful and exciting.
