Shaun De Ponte has embarked on a new adventure in Romania. He says, “I have taken up a very exciting opportunity in Romania, I will be growing DigiLogic RO and will be working with Cinelab in Bucharest as Operations Manager.”

The team recently got back from Tanzania where they shot for the ground-breaking and controversial VICE magazine. The documentary, titled The Last Mile is soon to be released online.

A host of long form jobs have been in the works including The Voice Angola and Sing Off both produced by AMPN and Holiday Swap produced by Launch Factory

Two features and numerous commercials have recently been serviced by BladeDIT; Jester productions Hardloop for the Kyknet film festival and Time Out for Mzanzi Magic.

The team also did VT on Metro FM/Darling Films, King Price/Ola Films and Kidney Beanz/Propeller Films a pro bono job for a really worthy charity.

The DITs crunched data on amongst others Spar Tops/Ola Films, Fedhealth/Brand et al, Tropika, Beacon and OLX all for Your Girlfriend, and Wimpy/Darling Films

Alex Jones has been expanding her skills set by working as a camera trainee The Journey is the Destination and as the DIT on the soon to be completed Pop Lock and Roll'.

Kim Rupping has taken over the management of all DIT/VTO bookings as our DIT Producer, Jo May, has decided to move on from Bladeworks .We wish Jo well with her new ventures. Besides commercials, our talented DIT's have worked on some of Africa’s biggest shows, designing one of a kind, job specific post production workflows with great success. Previous projects include Survivor SA, 3 territories of ITV’s “I’m a Celebrity - Get Me Out of Here,” AMPN’s "The Sing Off " South Africa, and MNET’s new reality show "Power Couple.” We have also had the pleasure of assisting other DIT’s such as Richard Muller on international feature film s.

BladeDIT has acquired the necessary tools to incorporate Live Grade systems into our on set workflows. Long term storage of your rushes are available for archiving through Clear/ LaserNet Cloud Solutions. This is beneficial to you as external hard drives should not be a permanent plan for long term storage, due to their degeneration rates. Prices dependant on storage requirements.
