Power Couple do their post production at Blade.

Bladeworks were fortunate to be chosen by Afrokaans as their post production facility for the first season of Power Couple SA. Power Couple is a reality based show that will be launching on M-Net on the 10th of September 2015.

The show takes South African couples on a journey of love, power, trust and money as eight couples endure to win magic millions all while pushing their relationships to the brink.

Timeframe TV, Bladeworks and Afrokaans started their planning together at the beginning of the year. Timeframe supplied all camera gear and lighting on location in Cape Town.  Michael Yelseth performed a double role as the DOP and Technical Director of the shoot.

Blade supplied a 64 tb Isis, five Avids and DIT to start the post production process while shooting was taking place around Cape Town. Reality editors, Craig Bleksley and Andrew Dixon started their editing a day after the first shoot day thanks to the diligent DIT work of Blades Riaan van der Merwe.

All the raw media was backed up to LTO on site and after six weeks of shooting in Cape Town, the production migrated to Bryanston for Post Production. All five Avids and Isis were reintegrated into the Bladeworks facility for the next seven months of editing.

Our BFX team did a worldclass job in producing all the Power Couple graphic elements and even an App for the game part of the show.

The grades for the thirteen episodes were done on Baselight by Nic Apostoli and Ciretta Frezza from Pudding at Bladeworks. The audio was final mixed by Johan Theron from Kwazi Mojo.
