Bladeworks, post production

The Loerie Awards have wrapped for this year and the precious and prestigious Loeries have gone to roost until they shake out their features again in 2010, and as we peruse the winner’s list, Blade Works is proud to have been associated with the post production of nine winners of the nineteen entries across four major categories.

Congratulations to the six prestigious clients of Blade Works Post Production Facilities who where acknowledged for their creative excellence and production fineness and also for entrusting their post production requirements to our experienced and talented operators; albeit for Telecine, Editing, Special Effects or Animation services that were conscientiously and expertly administered to the various productions.

At Blade Works we endeavor to supply the best creative and most cost effective solutions to every production that comes through our doors, but it is seldom that we have the opportunity to receive feedback from the Industry itself as to the impact our services have had on the award winning productions of the year. On viewing the awards listings for 2009 it was certainly a pleasant revelation and a nice reflection of our standard of work when we noted we have made a significant contribution to a Gold, a Silver, 3 Bronzes and no less than 4 Craft awards this season.

The television and film Industry is a constantly, developing, expanding, improving and evolving entity and Blade Works’ cutting edge performance in every area of post production will continue to offer the best possible support for production teams across South Africa for next years’s Loerie Awards.
